SarMaps is a service of Sarwise, a trade name of BOLBUY · Goudplevier 96, 5348 ZG Oss, the Netherlands · Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 68734581 · VAT NL002463953B54 · Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to every SarMaps account, trial and subscription. SarMaps is provided by Sarwise ("we"), a trade name of BOLBUY, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 68734581, Goudplevier 96, 5348 ZG Oss, the Netherlands. Contact: info@sarwise.com.

SarMaps is available to consumers (the Plus plan) and to businesses (the Team and Fleet plans). Where these terms treat consumers and businesses differently, this is stated.

2. Ordering and payment

Our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders: it processes payments, charges the applicable VAT or sales tax, issues invoices and handles payment-related questions. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern the transaction. These terms govern the SarMaps service itself. Nothing in these terms limits rights that mandatory law gives you.

Prices are shown on our website at the time of ordering: Plus including VAT, Team and Fleet excluding VAT. Subscriptions are paid in advance per month or per year.

3. The service

SarMaps watches the traffic on the routes you save and tells you when to leave, by Telegram message and phone notification. It can let people waiting for you know when you will arrive, warn you about road closures and accidents on your route, and suggest a detour. Navigation itself happens in an app of your choice, such as Google Maps or Waze.

Travel times, closures and incidents come from third parties, in particular Google (traffic and travel times), TomTom, the Dutch National Road Traffic Data Portal (NDW) and OpenStreetMap services. They are estimates. Traffic can change after an alarm has been sent. We do not guarantee that you will arrive on time, and you remain responsible for when you leave and how you drive.

Never read or operate SarMaps while driving. Follow the traffic rules and road signs, also when they differ from what SarMaps or a navigation app says.

We do our best to keep the service available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Messages depend on Telegram, push services and mobile networks.

4. Free trial

  • A new account can use SarMaps free for 14 days. No payment details are needed for the trial.
  • When the trial ends without a subscription, alarms stop. Your routes are kept, so starting a subscription brings everything back.
  • One trial per person. We recognise repeat trials by email address and by Telegram account (we keep a one-way code of both, see our Privacy Policy). An account that does not meet this rule starts without a trial. Temporary email addresses are not accepted.

5. Plans and fair use

Plus is for personal use, with up to 10 routes. Team is for businesses, priced per vehicle (at least 3), with up to 12 trips per vehicle. Fleet is agreed separately.

We use paid traffic data. If an account generates an unusual amount of traffic checks (for example by automated use or by sharing one account among many people), we will contact you to agree on a suitable plan, and we may limit checks for that account in the meantime.

6. Your obligations

  • Use SarMaps only lawfully and for your own trips, or, on a Team or Fleet plan, for your organisation's trips.
  • Only add people as contacts who expect to hear from you about your arrival.
  • Keep access to your account and your Telegram account private.

7. Personal data

Our Privacy Policy describes which data we process, which service providers we use and how long we keep data. On a Team or Fleet plan you may enter data of drivers and customers; you are responsible for having a valid reason to do so.

8. Term, cancellation and renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period. How and when you can cancel, and when a refund is possible, is described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. End of the service

When a subscription ends, alarms stop. You can delete your account at any time in the settings. We delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example invoicing records, which Paddle keeps).

10. Price changes

We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. The new price applies from your next billing period. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that period starts.

11. Liability

SarMaps gives estimates based on third-party data. We are not liable for being late, for missed appointments, fines or other damage caused by traffic, by incorrect or delayed traffic data, or by messages that arrive late or not at all. For business customers we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for SarMaps during the 3 months before the event that caused the damage.

These limits do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence, and they do not limit rights that consumers have under mandatory law.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages or changes at Google, TomTom, NDW, Telegram or other providers, internet or power failures, cyberattacks and government measures. If such a situation lasts longer than 30 days, either party may end the subscription.

13. Suspension

We may suspend an account if payment fails, if the service is used in breach of these terms, or if this is needed to prevent damage to the service or to others. Where possible we inform you first.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Oost-Brabant, the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may also go to the court there.
